My Ultimate Buddy surprised me again. His messenger is again a stranger and, this time, it's a taxi driver.
Just this dawn, around 1:00 am, I was amazed and shocked to know that the taxi driver that will drive me to Quezon City from the airport is a woman.
She is Ate Josie, a single parent of four and a taxi driver for seven years now. She solely raised her children until they finished college. Her husband left them and chose the other woman.
She shared a lot and gave me a lot of advises. But the most striking motherly message/reminder, as if she was talking to her daughter, she gave was when I was about to go out the taxi, pay her and say my "thank you". This is Ate Josie's message:, "Mag ingat ka lagi sa mga byahi! Magpakasawa ka sa pagiging single. Siguraduhin mo na mas mahal ka nang lalaki kaysa mahal mo siya. Proven and tested ko na yan.".
The message really strikes me. I had a hard time absorbing and processing it that made me think and rethink of what she said.

Thank you, Ate Josie for that motherly advise in a motherly tone.
Thank You, My Ultimate Buddy, for sending me a credible messenger. Indeed, You have your ways of sending Your message!
